Terms of Service

By accessing or using Room Audio Check, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of a company, household, venue, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Room Audio Check helps users run browser-based room audio checks, AirPlay or TV session checks, speaker routing tests, seat measurements, frequency response estimates, damping estimates, and related diagnostics.

The service is an informational diagnostic tool. It is not a substitute for a licensed engineer, professional installer, safety inspection, hearing test, medical advice, or manufacturer support.

• Use reasonable playback levels. Test tones, sweeps, bursts, and pink noise can be loud or unpleasant.
• Stop playback immediately if you hear distortion, clipping, equipment stress, or discomfort.
• Do not use the service in a way that could damage speakers, receivers, hearing, property, or network equipment.
• Do not record people, private spaces, or conversations unless you have all permissions required by law.
• Do not attempt to bypass authentication, disrupt sessions, overload the service, or interfere with another user's equipment.

Some features require Client Explorer group access. Client Explorer is the supported sign-in method for controller access. You are responsible for the accuracy of information submitted through your account or session and for maintaining control over your devices and links.

Measurement phones can join a session by QR code or session link. Anyone with a live join link may be able to join that session, so share session links only with people you trust.

You keep ownership of room descriptions, calibration profiles, seat labels, session metadata, uploaded files, recordings, measurements, and other content you provide.

You grant Ed In Park City LLC a limited license to process that content to operate, secure, debug, improve, and support Room Audio Check. This license ends when the content is deleted, except where retention is needed for security, legal, backup, or dispute purposes.

The service, software, brand, generated interface, and documentation are owned by Ed In Park City LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service or any intellectual property rights to you.

You may use the service for its intended diagnostic purpose. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or host the service except as allowed by law or a written agreement with Ed In Park City LLC.

Room Audio Check may rely on third-party platforms and technologies, including hosting providers, authentication providers, browser APIs, Apple AirPlay, device operating systems, media codecs, and receiver or speaker hardware. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Ed In Park City LLC is not responsible for third-party service availability, hardware behavior, AirPlay routing decisions, receiver processing, or app store and browser limitations.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ed In Park City LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

Audio measurements from phone microphones, browsers, AirPlay, room acoustics, receiver modes, and consumer hardware are approximate. Results may be incomplete or incorrect.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ed In Park City LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, equipment damage, personal injury, or business interruption arising from use of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Ed In Park City LLCfor any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use the service in the 12 months before the claim or 100 US dollars.

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also block or remove access if we believe use of the service violates these Terms, creates risk, infringes rights, or may harm the service or other users.

Utah law and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

State or federal courts located in Utah, unless applicable law requires another forum.
